_ The province is providing more than $8 billion to build transit in Toronto. Metrolinx, an agency of the province, will be building and owning the new lines built in Toronto. They were making good progress on building Eglinton all underground, and the SRT elevated, but now with the vote at council, this is in jeopardy.

Email and call them and let them know that you want this money invested in real rapid underground transit on Eglinton and Sheppard that will provide speeds to connect to region, and capacity to match the projected ridership.
